Raymond Adolphe Séré de Rivières, né le 20 mai 1815 à Albi ( Tarn) et mort le 16 février 1895 à Paris, est un ingénieur militaire et général français. Séré de Rivières a donné son nom à un système complet de fortifications construit après la guerre franco-allemande de 1870 1 .
